CSS-Tricks Screencast #143: WordPress Transients

WordPress transients are temporary bits of saved data that are really fast to retrieve. Sort of like localStorage is on the front end. In this video we use it to store some third-party JSON data, so we can use it server-side but not rely on that third-party for every request.

  1. Hi Chris, Im using the WP REST API plugin in wordpress – for some reason I think at the time of looping through the json posts in the sidebar, the "wp-posts" which is the call to get the posts is conflicting with "->" and causing an error.

Do you have a work around this?
